Prescriptions
Regular or repeat prescriptions maybe ordered by phoning our customer services team at reception.
Please have your list of medications ready to enable our receptionists to order your repeat prescription.
If it has been some time since you have seen your Doctor or Nurse, you may be asked to make an appointment before a prescription is signed off by your Doctor. Certain drugs require our receptionists to ask for ID before the prescription can be released to you. Please ensure you have ID with you when collecting your prescription.
Where possible prescriptions ordered before mid-day will be available for pick up after 5pm. During busy times it is not always possible for your doctor to process repeat prescriptions on the same day.
Please ensure you order your prescription well before you run out of medication. We recommend checking your medication and ordering your prescription 48 hours before a public holiday or if you are going away.
A same day script is $17.00 and payment is due when the prescription is collected.
Next day scripts are $14.00 and will be available after 3pm the following day on week days only. Payment is due when the prescription is collected.
For your convenience, we can also fax your prescription to the Pharmacy of your choice.
Weekends
You cannot order a prescription in the weekend. If you do not have enough medication to last until Monday, a Nurse will make a decision on whether the prescription is urgent and needs to be processed over the weekend.
